Ready for eating!!

The pineapples have turned yellow and when I tested pulling a leaf out of the top, it came away easily. I think this means they are ready to eat. Yippee! Just in time before we are away at Christmas. Time to plant those slips now too I guess so we can have more pineapples in a year's time. Yummy....

Hi there Kreloses. There are several places you can purchase a computer here in Samoa and what is on offer is getting better and better. Maybe check out the websites for CSL - Computer Services Limited http://www.cslsamoa.ws/ who have Dell, Samoa Electronics http://www.facebook.com/samoaelectronics (the Samoan Dick Smith Electronics that is in NZ that was set up by CSL), Island Rock (though not sure they have a website) and Samoa Stationery and Books which now also hold very good technical stuff http://www.facebook.com/pages/Samoa-Stationery-Books-Ltd/102783196472365. A trustworthy source tells me you can get a descent computer here for WST$3000.00.

The Samoa Observer Newspaper also has a website where you can keep up to date with the news on a daily basis. Have a look here http://www.samoaobserver.ws/ or see their twitter or facebook pages.

Online prescence is still developing here in Samoa so it can be difficult to find information via the internet!
